Dreaming of taking your research from the laboratory to the world? Come meet with three local scientists who are building health-technology companies in Canada. They will be sharing practical advice about how they built their businesses, the resources they’ve used and the challenges they’ve faced along the way.
Hosted at the TEC Centre Labs, this event is open to all community members. Guests will have an opportunity to tour TEC Centre Labs: 8,000 sq ft of combined laboratory and office space available in Enterprise Square for local scientists-entrepreneurs. Light refreshments will be provided.
Format:
- 5-10 minute presentations from three local scientist entrepreneurs + 30 minute panel discussion
- 3-minute info sessions on UAlberta Health Accelerator, Merck Invention Accelerator and the TEC Centre Labs
